How do I
find Mew? - sent in by several of you
I have not done this myself, so you
will have to confirm it:
Go to vermillion city and go to the SS
ANNE. Go in and get cut. Fight and lose to somone and you'll end
up at the PokéCenter without the SS ANNE leaving. Get STRENGTH
and SURF HM. Go back to the ship and it should be there. Before
you go in the ship, at the docking place right after the ticket
guy, SURF to the right and you'll see a truck [on an island]. Use
STRENGTH to push the truck, and there should be a pokeball
waiting there, and inside is MEW. -jason
How to I
find Certain Pokémon?
Mr. Mime: trade Abra on far RIGHT
of ROUTE 2 (use CUT) its just before VIRIDIAN FOREST.
Jynx: trade Poliwhirl at CERULEAN
CITY.
Lickitung : trade Slowbro on ROUTE 18
between FUCHSIA CITY and BIKE TRAIL
Get Zapdos in POWER PLANT (use SURF on
entrance to upper ROCK TUNNEL)
Articuno: in SEAFOAM ISLANDS
Moltres: in VICTORY ROAD
Mewtwo: in UNKNOWN CAVE just above
CERULEAN CITY. Use SURF just above the bridge and SURF down to
the cave, you must beat ELITE FOUR before the man will let you
in!
What do I
do to open the electric locks Lt. Surge has put up in the
Vermilion city gym?
Walk up to a trash can and press 'B.' Continue trying different cans until you find one that undoes the first lock. The next trash can look it right next to that can. There are no cans in between the first and second locks.
What is a
easy way to get Pikachu and where?
There are two places I know of: the power plant and Veridian Forest. Both places are hard to find him. But I think the easier is the power plant.
Where do
you get the flash HM?
From the Professer's aide in the house after the diglet cave.
Win Big at
the Slots
Play the slot above the woman that says "I think the slots have different odds." You have to have a turbo controller (this works for Super Game Boy only) and something to jam in the 'A' button to let it run over night. Where do I
find an Eevee in Pokemon Red Version?
1) Go to cerulean city.
2) Go to the pokecenter.
3) Go around to the right side of the
bulding and up.
4) You come to a path.
5) Go along the path towards the left.
6) There is a gap in the bushes. Enter
them.
7) You enter the back of a bulding.
8) Go up the stairs.
9) Enter the box room.
10) Talk to the guy.
11) Get the item box.
12) You have Eevee.
Where is
the secret house in the Safari Zone?
Map out the area, and in order to save you money, save your game right after you pay to get into the Safari Zone. Then walk around the 'Zone and when you're out of steps (you only have 500), reset your game without saving. Then you'll be back in the Safari Zone! You won't be able to save any Pokémon you caught, but you'll know where to go! (Hint: the Secret House is north of the entrance to the Safari Zone, and you can get there really quick if you have a Pokémon with SURF!)
Where can
I find Professor Oak's Aide?
There are multiple aides in the game. Each one at different points in the game give you different stuff.
How do I
get into Saffron City? I went on all four sides but the guard
won't let me through.
You need to get water from the vending machine in the city with the big Pokémart. Give it to one of the guards and you can enter any one of the entrances.
What is
the best way to catch pokemon in the Safari Zone?
I depends on each Pokémon. Try differing combinations of rock-throwing and ball-tossing.
Any
question about the Master Ball and Rare Pokémon:
There is only one Master Ball. The three rare birds and Mewtwo have all reportedly been caught with Ultra Balls. Just get the rare birds' power low and them put them to sleep, and you got them!
Which
Pokémon must be traded to evolve:
Graveler-Golem, Kadabra-Alakazam, Haunter-Gengar, Machoke-Machamp. Thanks to Anthony Kourkounakis.
Finding SURF HM, which Pokemon can
learn it and how to use it:
Get SURF from the Secret House in the SAFARI ZONE!
Teach it to a water type Pokémon.
Finding
CUT HM, which Pokemon can learn it and how to use it:
You get CUT from the Captain of the SS Anne. If the ship left without you getting this ability...well you are stuck.
What Pokemon uses CUT. I found out so far that Krabby, Farfetch'd, Tentacool, Beedrill, Paras, Farfetch'd, Bulbasaur, Oddish, Charmander, Belldprout, Sandshrew, and all their evovled forms can be taught CUT.
To use CUT. You go to the Pokemon with the ability and select it and a new menu Items will appear, CUT, select that and there ya go.
Start with
Bulbasaur, Charmander, Squirtle:
This requires
2 Linkable Game Boy sytems
2 Pokémon games, any colors
Game Link Cable
What you will do is use one Game Boy
as Pokémon storage and the other Game Boy as Pokémon capturer.
Start a new game with Game Boy A.
Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Squirtle.
Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Squirtle to Game Boy B.
Start a new game with Game Boy A.
Repeat 2 through 4.
Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Charmander.
Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Charmander to Game Boy B.
Start a new game with Game Boy A.
Repeat 6 through 8.
Go to Prof. Oak's lab and get Bulbasaur.
Go to nearest Pokémon Center and trade Bulbasaur to Game Boy B.
Start a new game with Game Boy A.
Repeat 10.
There should be 2 Squirtles and 2
Charmanders on Game Boy B, so now trade one of each back to Game
Boy A.
